Back up and sync is a storage service that automatically saves your photos and videos to your Google Account. These photos and videos will be attainable from any device where y'all are logged into your account.

If you already take Backup and Sync for Bulldoze

Backup and Sync is now Google Drive for desktop.

If y'all already have Backup and Sync installed, you'll be migrated to Google Drive for desktop.

To upgrade sooner, uninstall Backup and Sync so follow the steps above to ready up Google Drive for desktop.

Select a different upload size

You tin change the upload size for photos and videos backed upwardly to Google Photos from your computer.

Important: Y'all can't modify the upload size for files synced with Google Drive.

Back upward your Apple Photo Library (Mac only)

If your computer runs macOS, you can back up your Organization Photo Library to Google Photos.

Tips:

  • If yous have more than than one Apple Photos Library, only the System Photo Library volition be backed up. You can utilise Apple Photos to change the System Photograph Library.
  • If your Apple Photo Library is synced with iCloud, all photos and videos in your library and cloud will exist backed up to Google Photos on macOS 10.15 and above.

Upload items to Google Photos from your browser
